Relais Fenua Guest House - Punaauia (Tahiti)

The garden and the rooms were lovely. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful - especially Anabelle.

There were no restaurants close by - we ate at the roulottes, but that is not what we normally like when on holiday.

It would be useful to customers who, like us, didn't hire a car to have a map and info on the immediate area, ie: nearest shops and restaurant (with opening hours), bus times and cost, nearest ATM and especially how to get to the beach! It would have been useful to know that 1) there are no bars on the beach (extraordinary!) and 2) there are no restaurants within walking distance that open in the evening (also extraordinary!).

Friendly atmosphere, clean, simple rooms, helpful staff, especially Davy. We used it for for 3 days before & 3 days after our voyage on the "Aranui" & found it to be a relaxing place. It 's out of town, but there is inexpensive bus service to Papeete. The beach is nearby & a snack shop & a pizza place within a short walking distance. The guest house offers breakfast for a price, but unless you have transportation there isn't much else in the area. Davy will taxi you anywhere but it can be expensive.

We didn't have our own transportation so found the limited nearby facilities inconvenient, unless you have more funds than we had.

Relatively low price and cheaper Internet (500 xpf per day). Cooking facilities.

Location.

Pleasant, small, informal atmosphere. Welcoming staff. Adequate rooms. Breakfast was good. Pretty garden and pool, very peaceful. Ocean is a few minute walk and miles of beach.

Transportation. It is 18 Km into Papeete and the buses, although very close by, pass every half hour or longer and the wait can be up to 40 minutes. This is an excellent place but you probably could use a car. The staff did not act on an email we sent asking for an extension of our stay. While they did receive it we then had to change hotels (they were very gracious through out and were very kind in helping us change hotels. They even made the reservation and took us there!)

I absolutely loved this pension, the owners Odile and her husband were so dear and kind to me that I will always be grateful and forever remember them and all they did for someone who really needed to rest!

Not over-priced, friendly and welcoming staff.

Expensive to get to by taxi or limo from airport or cruise ship dock.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié le décors du Relais Du fenua et aussi le personnel était très accueillant. Rien à dire, merveilleux soirée et matinée passé là bas.

Je n'ai rien à dire sur ce que je n'ai pas apprécié.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Ruhige Lage etwa 200 m. von der Strasse entfernt. Frische luft, sehr viel Grün.

Durchgelegene Matratzen, Alte Klimaanlage, zum Strand muss man ca.500 m. der Strasse entlang laufen.

Bezahlbare Unterkunft auf Tahiti. Freundliches Personal.

4X2m kann man ja nicht als großer Pool bezeichnen. Den Austritt mit einen Stuhl darauf als Terrasse zu bezeichnen ist etwas übertrieben.Auswärts Essen gehen nicht möglich und bei ihnen recht teuer.Ohne eignes Auto kommt man schlecht weg.

La première impression en rentrant au relais fût agréable, la petite piscine entourée de plantes trône au milieu de la cour, la propriétaire nous accueille avec un grand sourire. Nous sommes arrivés quelques heures trop tôt, mais voyant que nous sommes fatigués, elle nous livre une chambre pour que nous puissions nous reposer. Elle change même notre réservation en nous livrant une chambre qui ne figure pas encore sur le site booking (car elle n'est disponible que depuis trois mois) qui correspond mieux à notre groupe et qui de plus, est moins chère. Le lit est immense, la chambre est propre, la douche est grande. En un seul mot: je le recommande !

Nous n' y avons séjourné qu'une seule nuit avant de reprendre l'avion; accueil très sympa; agréable chambre climatisée et claire; jolie petite piscine et emplacement très proche de l'une des plus grandes plages de papeete (nous y sommes allés en moins de 5min à pied); on vous propose également un service de "taxi" ce qui est appéciable quand on part à 5h du matin...

la position par rapport à Papeete. l'accueil excellent, simple mais grès agréable. Je recommande sans réserve
